Blogging Artists

I have learned recently that there are alot of us.
We tend to talk about our work, the work of others, and our inspiration.
I have met some amazing artists in my life.
I have watched how life drama affects them.
As Artists we are a bit sensitive to the drama in our lives.
It does affect our work.
It does stop us in our tracks.

A very dear friend of mine for forty years recently lost his wife.
He is THE most accomplished artist that I have ever known.
He got stopped in his tracks.
Injured beyond his own words can express.
He is struggling out of a personal mire that I can only imagine.
He is suffering.
When I talk to him, he sounds just SAD.
To let him be sad and deal with the grieving process is very hard for me.
I just want to fix it.
To reach out to him with my work,
my blog, my muse.
I want to save him, and make him well again.
But it does not work.
Sometimes you just have to listen.
And sometimes there are no words.
If we both sit in silence but know that we are both engaged in the process,
it somehow helps him.

The blogging artists that I know seem to have an outlet to release pain and suffering.
I wish that I could get all artists to blog.
I would love to hear their rumblings.
I would love to hear what inspires them to be who they are everyday.
Through pain, fear and suffering.
We all have it.
So much healthier if you can express it.
So much healthier if other artists support you and reach back.

But for now, I will blog my feelings.
I will blog my ramblings of thought.
I will continue to reach out to other artists and try to turn them into bloggers.

It really helps the Muse be fed.
Art On!!!
