Pain is Sometimes ART

When you paint so much that your shoulders ache and your wrist cramps,
you KNOW that you are pushing it.

When you paint so much that the images float around in your head when you sleep,
you KNOW that you are pushing it.

When you paint so much and want to paint so much more than the hours in a day,
you KNOW that you are pushing it.

And yet, that is what I do.
Everyday.
Every moment possible.
Every time I think it is of painting and color / brushes/ technique.

I am smitten.
I am bitten.
and it has consumed me.

I admit that it is SO important.
And I just want to paint.

Even if I never sell another painting.
Even if no one notices or likes anything I do.

It will continue to be my focus.
My life.
My passion.
