The Qui Series is a true celebration
of a depth of color that my work
has not reached before.
It came out of a passion that drives most of my work.
Images of places that I have been
and keep with me.
The color just kind of bubbled up
and dove onto the canvas at some kind of
energy level unheard of.
And it seemed to have stayed.
Creating its own rhythm
and verse.
If I tried to do it again
I believe I would be hard pressed.
