Evacuation is a funny thing.
Difficult to take
your easel
your paints
your stretchers
and your canvas.
You kind of have to decide
whether water is the priority
or PAINTING is.
But first of all
deciding if you stay
or go.
I am enjoying the
uncertainty
of it all.
And embracing a morning
of painting
and writing.
I mean
who knows?
flooding
blackout
trees down
and a mess left behind
does not sound good
for an ARTIST.
But strong winds
inches of rain
and the drama of it all sounds great!
