I pull alot of inspiration
from nature.
My studio has large windows
and ooodles of natural light.
The BEST kind of light.
On really warm days
when I must close the
blinds and cocoon
a bit
I have to admit
I miss the natural view.
Working on the water is absolutely THE
BEST
way to work.
The ocean has a drama of its own
that cannot
be duplicated in
any man made way.
Watching waves
ebb and flow
watching the rise of
the surf
the tides coming in.
Absolutely my
FAVORITE
way to work.
When I am in my studios that
are not ocean views
I notice that my muse takes
more to energize.
More to tease.
And I work at it
it is an important thing.
I love water the most.
But secondly
trees
mountains
and fields of dramatic
flowers
will suffice.
