The Biggest Frustration for Most ARTISTS

Is not being able to support themselves
with their work.
ARTISTS get great feedback
from many art sites.
They often are shown on many gallery
sites that are very nice for
the ego
and the everyday encouragement.
But as far as sales
go... it is tough.

Sales of ART are very important
for an ARTIST to be
able to work in the field.
Most ARTISTS do not have
trust funds
or any other means of support.

The ARTISTS that sell their work
tend to learn more
do more work
and grow in their field.

It takes time and pursuit
to be able to grow.
If you are not feeding
your self with your
brushes
how do you justify the
cost of materials
and keeping at it.

How do you justify the time
involved in learning
more
taking classes
working with other painters
playing more everyday.

All ARTISTS worry
that their work may
not be good enough to
sell it.
They worry that their pricing may be too
high
or priced wrong
for their
medium
or their market.

In truth
all of the above may be true.
But I do believe that
finding your niche.
Filling a
void in the market
is the key.
Once you have found your audience
and work more
and keep learning,
your work will sing!
