So many distractions this
time of year.
I find myself pulled in so many
directions
and they take away from my true focus.
ART
It is a fleeting thing
you know.
The holidays.
They pull you into
nostalgic directions
of doing things that
you have always done
for one reason or another.
I have found that usually
this pull is self imposed
and not always the best for me.
Many years of
no acknowledgment of
the effort
that goes into
so many aspects of
the decorating
and gifting.
So I remind myself
once again.
Focus on your work.
Focus on all that brings your
soul into a state of flight.
But not a focus
that tires
and take you away from
all that is needed inside
your muse.
Stay on the ground
and create that
which must be created.
Create that which you need to
connect too
and let the rest go.
