The most FAVORITE
thing that I do
is working with Interior Designers.
I do many many collaborations
with them yearly
but my commissioned work
is my favorite.
When a designer comes
to me and asks me
to create a specific size
or type of image
for them,
is THE most fun!!
It is not only the challenge of pleasing
them or creating
something that speaks to
them.
But it also the challenge of
seeing their work
from the inside out
and enhancing it.
A duo effort of
creating something new.
But something that helps
them complete a
concept for a client.
I routinely ask for
a period of time
to create the work
that coincides with the
completion of their
project.
I want to be the last one in
but not the one that delays
the project completion.
I will deliver and install
the work
for them.
I will make sure that it is
hung securely
even in a public space.
Often my methods of securing
work are new
to them.
Custom brackets
that are not seen.
Custom hinges
that create an invisible
connection
but also control the ability for
anyone to cause
injury to their space.
I love collaborating the
color work
the image
and the total expression.
I love pleasing
the designer and the client
and finishing the work that the designer
has created.
It is my greatest joy
in this business!!
