I REALLY just want to PAINT!!

When you wake up every morning in a small mist - a daze and all you can think about

is your brushes, your jars of paint, and your canvases waiting for you.   You must be an

artist!!   A devoted lover always there for you.  Anticipating your moves, your strokes, 

and your attention to their details.  Watching magic appear from your efforts.  Never

ever getting enough.  Never ever feeling totally satisfied or done.  That is the role of

an artist.   That is the process of creating magical beauty every day.

So it is time to embrace it again.

The series I am working on is called "FLY"

It is dedicated to my children.  They are all flying and soaring in their careers.   

I am just their wing man.  Encouraging and applauding their accomplishments.

This series is about hope and love.  It is sometimes colorful and full of wonder.

Other times a bit broody and thoughtful, with darker strokes of careful placement

and supportive undertones of brightness.

"FLY" is a testament to the courage of children to grow up and feel thier own

wind beneath their wings.  To sometimes fan their desire for it, or give them

feedback.  But mostly just watching them go higher and higher.   Reaching goals

and objectives that they set into a future of amazement for the rest of us.

So today again I will "FLY" for them.  Today I will peer into their joy and paint it

with a light hand.  No control over their outcome, just enjoying being a small 

part of something truly magic!!
