Art as Life

The dream life is one of total creativity and sharing only what you deem ready.

The dream of never being bound to "sell" something is ideal.

To not worry about what the public wants, but only what you want to paint today.

I paint in colors and shapes that please me.

I pick the canvas size and direction based my my muse that day.

I do commissions, and they are large and somewhat purposeful.

I even sketch the basic idea sometimes of what those canvases will hold.

But the real magic in my work is in the small canvases that I display on blogs and online galleries.

These small pieces hold a piece of me that I never share with the larger curators that commission

my LARGE work.

They do not tune into Facebook and look for me in small gallery settings.

They are working with my art another way.

They are curating a piece from me with a direction in mind.

They are telling me the size that they want, and may reference series that they have seen.

But more often than not, they are telling me what their budget is and asking me to paint.

My life is a series of ART interpretations and ART expressions.

I want more ART to invade every moment, every thought.

My total dream is to spend all of my time immersed in ART.

Art Shows of others, ART museums.  ART classes.

And talking to artists about their ART.
