Embrace Series

Sometimes support from others is the most needed reaction.

Sometimes that series itself is defined by that feeling.

That is what Embrace was for me.

The series is a high point in painting.

It is play of color that soothes and caresses the onlooker.

The colors are so yummy that the paint is edible.

And the viewer is mesmerized by the playfulness of that happiness shown here.

Embrace is a feel good series because it shows love.

I do not know how it was actually created.

It flowed from within (as all good paintings do).

And it communicated on the canvas just exactly how the embrace felt.

It embraced the audience and got warm.

It is a landmark series to me because it communicated happy.

And happy is about as good as it gets.

Especially when looking at art.

I will take happy in my work.

I will Embrace it as well.
