Inspiration from a Cherry Tart

We all get inspired by different things.
I am a chef, so sometimes food and the prepping / chopping / combining / baking
takes over and it becomes ART.

One of my favorite things to dazzle with are desserts.
NO one does not like desserts.
The final sweetness.
The tart and sweet combined.
The decadence of chocolate or dense nuts.
I personally love to do a series of desserts to offer after a dinner party.
A layout of sweets that tempt everyone to eat just a bit more with aperitifs
or strong coffee
or even a cigar.

The fitting end to this summer day must be a sugar crusted lattice woven cherry tart.
Nothing more Americana than that.
