The Addiction of Social Media

I do believe that the creation of a persona on Social Media can be addictive.
A lot of people get consumed by posting to sites, instead of enjoying the moments they are in.
Documenting how much fun you had becomes more important than actually having the experience.
I see this with all ages, on different site.
Older people tend to like Facebook and Pinterest.
Younger tend to like Snapchat.
In between are the Instagramers, and the Linkedin folks.

I believe that Social Media is a very powerful tool.
It is a marketing vehicle for me and my businesses.
I can spend every waking hour working on Social Media to get the word out about my collection of ART.
Keeping people abreast of what is being developed.
What is new.
What has sold.
What gallery shows are current.
There is sooo much to do that a day can easily become consumed by the activity of it all.

And it is a GREAT way to reach thousands and thousands of people that follow my art.
Selling art on Social Media is a very strong motivator to do it.
There is no better way to avoid gallery commissions,
and the brick and mortar costs of your own gallery.
