Orange and Blues Today

I am so drawn to the colors of Orange and Blue this morning.

I keep looking at the work in my studio and think of how those two friends are interacting.

They are such a contrast within their relationship.

They bounce off each other and leave energy between them.

They never meld together to say one thing.

They always keep their voices in tact.

I want to push them today.

I want to drag them and make them streak the canvas.

Block them into words and expressions that pay nice.

Pushing Orange and Blue today.

Pushing and scraping them.

Pulling through them with edges and blades.

Creating a rhythm and energy that exists between them.

Joyful play.

Be nice to each other today while on my canvas.

Create playfulness that I need to create.
