Back to MY Life.  Back to my PAINTS!!

It is always nice to go on an adventure.
It is always nice to come home.
The coast of Michigan was delightful.
As quaint as I remembered it.
The memories still vivid of being a teenager, and camping/ eating ice cream and swimming.
The light houses.
The pure sand.
The layers of shoreline colors of water depths.
The large waves on the breakers to the light houses.
The families and strollers and memories being created.
The fish cleaning stations by the fishing boats.
Met a Grandpa and his Grandson.  So delightful.
He adores his Grandpa.  He listened to every story.  He was in the middle of his memory of his childhood.  It was precious and delightful.  Grandpa - late 70's.  Grandson - 8 ish.
When you witness Pure Michigan filtered by your memories.  It is magic.

And Ohio.  Just a dream.  Transient wealthy town/community.
Everything changes quickly.  Evolves.
My houses no longer my houses.
The memories fading, but not lost.
So much healing there.  So much adventure with a smaller subset of my children.
Going back to Ohio was not painful.
Going back to Ohio was a moving story.

So now I can focus on painting and writing and my current life.
My paints and brushes are clean, and ready for me to delve into them.
The canvases are stretched and leaning against themselves - waiting.
I just want to push the colors into each other and form shapes and layers.
I just want to move the elements on the canvas and release THEIR magic.
I just want to be involved with the canvas and play within the parts that make it my own.
So back to the reality of my current life.
Back to the magical days of this week.
I am so excited to paint this afternoon.
So excited to just dance on the canvas.
