Sometimes when I am in a tired or worn out state
my painting gets ornery.
I work with sharper images
stronger color contrasts
and sharp edges.
I just feel like I need to express it.
I need to act out a bit.
I wish that I could express it in words
or blogging
or speaking.
But it always comes out in my work.
My paintings get ornery.
They get firey
and full of life
full of steam.
I feel like it is an explosion of spirit on the canvas.
I feel as if I may burst and get my spirit all over it.
