As a painter that successfully supports
herself by painting and
posting Series work on Facebook
I can attest to the fact
that Facebook IS actually a GREAT
way for ARTISTS
to post and sell their work.
You do have to be diligent.
You do have to post new work.
You do have to respond quickly to questions
and requests for additional images.
And you do need to be grateful
for all the connections
likes
and shares that you get.
If you do all of these things
and post to an audience that you organically
grow to be over 300,000
I can assure you
that you can make a living
selling work on
Facebook.
You do need to find your niche
and work to that niche
and post to that niche.
But it certainly
does work.
I have many many
clients that are NOT
Facebook users.
So it is not my total income.
But it is a large portion of my
sales to date.
I would state that at least 40%
of my sales are on these Facebook
galleries.
This number is growing
all the time.
It could overtake my commissioned work
sometime in 2017.
It could surpass it
because it is growing at
a steady rate.
