Storage Supplies Paints Storage

All Painters have trouble with storage.
That is why it is so wondrous to see others
studios.
How does that painter that you
admire deal with all the stuff
that we have to store?

Paints
(cans / tubs / bottles / tubes/ jugs)
Brushes
(long / short / wet / encrusted with paint / brand new)
Scrapers
(varied / strange / thick / thin / rubber / metal / wood )
Stretchers
(match em up / screw them together / assembled / not assembled )
Canvas
( rolls / sheet / remnants / all lengths / all sizes )
Miscellaneous
(crazy tools / staple guns / staples / hammers / pull tools )
Need I go on?

It is a never ending challenge to store all the things that
we absolutely need to
do our work
and not think of them
and never run
out of them
and always  have
them close by.

So we buy cabinets
storage bins
carts
shelving
and islands
galore.
And it still seems
to surround
our easels
and overwhelm
our space.

And then there is the
completed work.
When it does
not sell
how do you
decide how
to store it.
Or hang it
or give it to a
deserving patron.

Such decisions
and such dilemmas
and I though this was
just a fun
easy
simple
process!
