Representational Work

This is a subject that I know so little about.
At least in execution, I do.
I am surrounded by artists that are representative
constantly.
So talented and so driven in their field.
I have vast respect for their talent.
And am in such awe of them.
I used to do watercolor when I was first in college.
I learned alot about that medium and really
thought the only way I would excel in it was to become the very best representative painter.
I never did that.
I was pretty good with watercolors
but it began to take an abstract form.
That is when I decided that color
shape
and form were my fortay
not  representative work.

And I kept going.
I learned to paint with Acrylics in college.
I learned how much drama they have.
How to layer them.
How to carve them.
it has been a glorious ride.
And it is now all that I love.
