We all get drawn to political issues.
Whether it is a local election
or National races.
Politics influences different people different ways.
The hopelessness of the US presidential election
has influenced so many artists this year.
I watch the news posts about crazy issues
and statements made by politicians that need to stay quiet.
We all watch people implode out of callousness for others.
And watch people so arrogant that they have created their own world that spins around them.
It hurts everyone.
But artists are a special breed.
One of more gentle a soul than the rest.
One of more awareness than most.
One of more influence personally.
And most of all sensitive to things that just are not right.
ART needs a surface to be based on.
A platform of structure to blossom from.
Words can destroy the beginning of creativity by distraction.
Do not be distracted dear soul.
Focus on real creation and peace within.
The world will probably keep on spinning for a while.
Deep divides are here.
But it will probably be okay, at some level.
Try to let it all go Artist friends.
Focus on the hope of tomorrow and the rest of what is around you.
